Season’s Greetings from IUFoST

Our Greetings To You

It has been a most challenging year for us all, recovering still from Covid and confronting new world issues affecting each of us and our professions in terms of sustainable and resilient food systems.

Never has this been more important – the work towards sustainable and resilient food systems as we help those who lack the infrastructure, the technical processes to conserve food safely and for those who do not have adequate access to food.

We may not be able to stop the external conditions for many caused by war and climate change, political instability and other differences, but we ARE able to improve food supply, food safety and food sustainability.

Food Scientists, Technologists and Engineers working together with our colleagues in Nutrition and other disciplines are needed more than ever to bring local solutions to the global problems around us regarding access to safe, secure and nutritious food and diets.

We know that our expertise can make a significant difference to the lives of all those around us. We  invite you to join us as we begin the new year to confront and to solve some of the obstacles preventing a  sustainable and resilient food system for all.

In the meantime, our IUFoST family hopes for the best in happiness, health and wellbeing for you and your family.

With warmest regards,
