Cutting Edge Innovation in Early Career Scientist Research

We heard from the future of food science and technology – 

The Early Career Scientist Plenary speakers Anet Jambrak (Croatia), Azis Sitanggang (Indonesia), Zhilong Yu (Canada), Adriano Costa de Camargo (Chile), Matthew Moore (USA), Anya Ashim (Tonna) South Africa, Amanda Naaum (Canada) and Jay Kant Yadav (India) set the highest standards as they reported on the innovative research they are undertaking related to the Sustainable Development Goals. 

In the Pitch Competition featuring research work by the PhD candidate finalists in five-minute segments, the depth and breadth of the ongoing work in research institutes around the world was displayed as it related to the Sustainable Development Goals.  The top Pitch presentations were recognised at the Symposium closing today.
