FUTURE FOR FOOD WEBINAR
Webinar Speaker Brad McKay, President McKay Consulting, Canada talks about the Future for Food in a new webinar series bringing together expert views on major topics. Synopsis: With the world’s population expected to grow by 2 billion by 2050 we will need new and innovative means of safely producing and manufacturing food in a manner that supports the sustainability of mankind. This talk will start with a look at human evolution, the history of food and then take you to a world 30 years from now where eating habits will be very different and where food will be portable, individual and sustainable. By 2050, our means of producing and manufacturing food will be different as well, driven by changes in the environment, technology and our ability to manufacture an ever-increasing amount of nourishing food without destroying the planet.
