By the end of this module, participants should be able to: a) Describe the extent of post harvest food losses in the SADC region. b) Describe the different types of food storage containers available. c) Describe the causes and mechanism of food storage losses. d) List the benefits of good food storage. e) Explain the pest control measures necessary to reduce food losses during storage. f) Identify for different food products, the appropriate type of packaging needed.
