Food Safety Without Borders Graduate Student Paper Competition

Food safety has been identified as a global public good that requires local solutions and collaboration between the public and private sectors, based on globally applicable principles. Food science and technology students have a unique opportunity to make a difference to food safety in their country or region through the Food Safety Without Borders Graduate Student Paper Competition.

Students enrolled in an M.Sc. or Ph.D. programme are invited to submit academic papers addressing a food problem present in indigenous foods of their country/region in a marketable way with the objective of enhancing global food safety. A cash prize will be awarded for winning papers, which will be considered for publication in World of Food Science and IUFoST-approved journals, subject to standard review procedures.

Applications must be received by TBA and will be considered by an international jury in conjunction with IUFoST. Find the details and application form here.
